I would like to announce that I have sold Carlson Championship Calls, LLC to Ryan Knoell. This will take effect May 14, 2010.
I have known Ryan for around eight years and this process has been in the discussion and planning stages for well over a year. I personally want to assure you that Ryan will be carrying on the Carlson tradition of producing top-notch and functional waterfowl calls as well as supporting them through instruction and customer service. Ryan has been and will continue to train under me as he masters the fine art of hand crafting Carlson Championship Calls. The continuation of the reputation that Carlson Championship Calls has earned the past 40 years was important to me when I began looking for someone to carry on the Carlson tradition. I believe Ryan has the youth and energy to expand Carlson Championship Calls and move them into new markets.
Over time, you will begin to see changes to the web site as Ryan integrates more of his own personal content in to it. For now, though, be assured that all the same products and instructional materials will still be available. The only difference will be that if you call for assistance or to order products, you will be talking to Ryan rather than me. The main phone number...402 554-8411 will remain the same and the email links will be updated to reflect Ryan's contact information.
Lastly, I would like to personally thank each and every person I have met personally, talked to over the phone, instructed and helped the past eleven years I have been the owner of Carlson Championship Calls. To all my customers and loyal supporters, I would like to say how much that support and loyalty has met. I have met and become friends with many people these past eleven years and I will continue to cherish those friendships in the years to come. Thanks again and I would appreciate it if you would give Ryan a chance to show you his abilities and dedication to continuing the Carlson tradition.
